(FDS) Digital Dentistry

ABOUT THE PROGRAM :

  1. The FDS – Digital Dentistry is a clinically oriented, technology-driven fellowship program conducted at SRM Dental Clinic, Madurai, India.
  2. SRM Dental Clinic is the first fully digital dental clinic in Madurai, offering:
    1. Single-visit dentistry
    2. Intraoral Scanning (i-Tero Lumina, i-Tero E2, i-Tero Lumina, 3 Shape Trios)
    3. CAD–CAM restorations
    4. In-house zirconia lab
    5. In-house aligner manufacturing facility
    6. CBCT imaging and guided implant surgery
    7. Conscious sedation and laser dentistry
  3. The program is designed to train dentists in end-to-end digital dental workflows, from diagnosis to final prosthesis.
  4. Participants must have completed BDS (Degree / Provisional) from a recognized university.
  5. Dental Council of India (DCI) registration is mandatory.
  6. Only Indian nationals are eligible.
  7. All lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on sessions are mandatory.

Course Guidelines:

The program includes Didactic Sessions, Hands-On Training, Software- Based Planning, & Clinical Demonstrations.

COURSE CURRICULUM

DATA INPUT – CBCT TRAINING:

  • Hands-on training on CBCT acquisition
  • CBCT software analysis, including:
    • Arch form drawing
    • Inferior alveolar nerve tracing
    • Sinus evaluation
    • Implant positioning and manipulation
  • CBCT-based diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Digital report generation

INTRAORAL SCANNING

DIAGNOSTIC & DEFINITIVE SCANS

DIGITAL SIMULATIONS

CERTIFICATION & GRADUATION

  1. Participants will receive FDS – Digital Dentistry Certification
  2. Certification will be awarded after:
    • Completion of the prescribed training modules
    • Attendance at all mandatory sessions
