ABOUT THE PROGRAM :

  1. The advanced “FELLOWSHIP CERTIFICATE IN GENERAL DENTISTRY” is a CLINICAL BASED Program conducted by SRM DENTAL CLINIC, MADURAI, INDIA.
  2. The participants MUST have finished their BDS (Degree / Provisional) from any recognized University.
  3. Dental Council of India Registration Number is Mandatory.
  4. Only Indian Nationals are ELIGIBLE for this program.
  5. The participants will be allowed to work on patients for Implant cases under the supervision of our Faculty.
  6. Participants have to complete their requirement of clinical work within the stipulated period.
  7. Lecture & Pre-clinical sessions are provided which are mandatory.

Course Guidelines :

Program Duration : 90 DAYS
The Program will include PART 1 & PART 2.

PART 1 :

Theory Sessions (Clinically Oriented):
Pre-Clinical Training:

1. Diagnosis and treatment planning in all specialties
2. Radiographic interpretation
3. Periodontal Disease and its treatment modalities

  • Assisting Gingival Flap Surgeries and Bone regeneration cases.

4. Endodontics

  • Diagnosing and evaluation of pulp diseases
  • Endo Emergency Access opening and other RCT protocols
  • Assisting the Endo cases.

5. Restorative Dentistry

  • Bonding options
  • Restorative Material options

6. Prosthodontics and Rehabilitation

  • Treatment option for missing teeth
  • Impression Techniques
  • Treatment planning for Implant
  • Introduction to RPD, Flex Dentures and BPS dentures
  • Assisting Crown & Bridge preparation
  • Crown preparation under Guidance

7. Introduction to oral Surgery

  • Extractions and post op management
  • Assist Impaction cases
  • Medical emergencies & BLS

8. Sterilization and its protocols

9. Equipment and its Maintenance

PART 2 :

Clinical Session on Patients:

  1. Training in endodontics with minimum 10 RCTs and exposure to rotary endodontics.
  2. Restorative dentistry with a minimum 5-10 composite cases including anteriors.
  3. Crown preparation basics with minimum 3 patients of fixed crown and bridge
  4. Extractions and exposure to minor oral surgery
  5. Dental emergency management along with BLS
  6. Exposure to Lab
  7. Case selection, planning and follow – up for implants and aesthetics (smile designing)
  8. Minimum 100 cases to be planned and completed comprehensively

Participants should bring the following :-

  • White Apron

Centre will provide the following :-

  • Patients and Dental chair.
  • All needed Kits and Materials
  • X Rays (pre-op, WL, master cone, post-op)
  • All Consumables (Mask, Gloves, syringes etc)

REGISTRATION :

  1. Participants can register online
  2. The course fee is Rs. 1,00,000 /-*One Lakh Rupees only] ; does NOT include Travel, and Stay
  3. Participants have to pay Rs10,000/-*Ten Thousand Rupees only] as Advance to confirm. The Balance amount can be paid as two equal installments – First on your joining date and second payment during commencement of the second month.
