PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:-

During their curriculum, fellows will be trained to:

  • Diagnose cases; Identify complex cases that must be referred to other specialty departments;
  • Perform site preparation surgery and implant fixture placement in simple and advanced classification cases;
  • Perform temporization procedures;
  • Fabricate single implant restorations, multiple unit fixed restorations, fixed detachable restorations, and an implant supported overdenture;
  • Diagnose the health of an existing implant fixture and understand causes and treatment of implant failure.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM :

  1. The advanced “FELLOWSHIP CERTIFICATE IN IMPLANTOLOGY” is a CLINICAL BASED Program conducted by SRM DENTAL CLINIC, MADURAI, INDIA – THE OIC HUB AND RESEARCH CENTER OF OSSTEM, THE FIRST EVER IN INDIA.
  2. The participants MUST have finished their BDS (Degree / Provisional) from any recognized University.
  3. Dental Council of India Registration Number is Mandatory.
  4. Only Indian Nationals are ELIGIBLE for this program.
  5. The participants will be allowed to work on patients for Implant cases under the supervision of our Faculty.
  6. Participants have to complete their requirement of clinical work within the stipulated period.
  7. Lecture & Pre-clinical sessions are provided which are mandatory.

Course Guidelines :

Program Duration : 90 DAYS
The Program will include PART 1 & PART 2.

PART 1 :

Theory Sessions (Clinically Oriented):
Pre-Clinical Training:

  1. Dental anatomy – implant perspective
  2. Basic principles of diagnosis and treatment planning
  3. Biomaterials and biomechanics
  4. Diagnostic aids (periapical x-rays, OPGs, CBCTs)
    • Patient screening and medical evaluation
    • Indications and contra indications for Implant therapy
  5. Implant designs (Implant prototypes and different design of each implant)
  6. Surgical principles and adjunctive surgical procedures followed by hands-on in model.
  7. Suturing materials & techniques
  8. Implant prosthodontics hands on in model
  9. Faculty Demonstration on sinus lift

PART 2 :

Clinical Session on Patients:

  1. Live surgical Faculty demonstration before each step
  2. Complete Implant Treatment with Prosthesis
  3. Clinical cases Performed on patients

Participants should bring the following :-

  • White Apron

Centre will provide the following :-

  • Patients and Dental chair.
  • Implant Kits
  • X Rays (pre-op, WL, master cone, post-op)
  • Implant materials
  • All Consumables (Mask, Gloves, syringes etc)

REGISTRATION :

  1. Participants can register online
  2. The course fee is Rs.90,000/- * Ninety Thousand Rupees only] ; does NOT include Travel, and Stay
  3. Participants have to pay Rs.10,000 /-* Ten Thousand Rupees only] as Advance to confirm. The Balance amount can be paid as two equal installments – First on your joining date and second payment during commencement of the second month.
